How much does a seasonal tyre change cost?

For a passenger car, a complete tyre change including balancing of four wheels costs from 1 099 CZK for 13–15” wheels, 1 399 CZK for 16–18” and 1 999 CZK for 19–23”. The price includes balance weights up to 100 g per set of four wheels. The exact price depends on wheel size and the scope of work.s

When should I switch from summer to winter tyres?

A practical guide is a settled temperature of around +7 °C or below. Summer rubber hardens in the cold and grips less well. When choosing a date it is also worth taking current weather conditions and Czech legal requirements into account.

Can you store my tyres?

Yes. Seasonal storage of a set of tyres costs 1 399 CZK. At your next seasonal change the set will already be here at the workshop, so there is nothing to transport or store at home.

Can a punctured tyre be repaired?

In many cases, yes. Repairing a puncture in a tubeless tyre costs 1 195 CZK. Whether repair is possible depends on the location and nature of the damage. Sidewall cuts, damage to the carcass and punctures in high-risk areas may mean the tyre has to be replaced.

Is balancing necessary with a seasonal tyre change?

We recommend balancing whenever tyres are mounted, and any time vibration appears at higher speeds. It ensures the wheel runs true and avoids unnecessary load on the suspension and steering. Balancing is already included in a complete tyre change.

How long does a tyre change take?

A seasonal tyre change usually takes around an hour. The exact time depends on wheel size, the condition of the fixings and whether any additional work is needed. You are welcome to wait for your car in the waiting area.
