How does a full wash differ from an ordinary car wash?

A full wash is a more thorough level of care. We clean the bodywork by hand using pH-neutral products, pay attention to the wheels, wheel arches and hard-to-reach areas, dry the car carefully with microfibre and treat the tyres. This approach reduces the risk of introducing new micro-scratches into the paintwork.

How long does a full wash take?

A full wash usually takes around two hours. The time varies according to the size of the vehicle, how dirty it is and the scope of work selected. Our service advisor will confirm the exact duration and price when you book.

When does a car need interior cleaning?

Interior cleaning is worthwhile if there are stains, odours, traces of pets or food, or significant soiling of the upholstery. We clean the seats, carpets, plastics and hard-to-reach areas. The work usually takes one day, after which the interior needs time to dry completely.

When is paint polishing worth doing?

Polishing helps remove or reduce fine scratches, dullness and marks left by incorrect washing, and restores gloss to the paintwork. Before starting we assess the thickness and condition of the paint. Polishing takes from one working day, depending on the condition of the bodywork and the result required.

Is it worth washing and protecting the car in winter?

Yes. In winter, salt, road treatment chemicals and road grime build up on the bodywork, particularly in the wheel arches and along the sills. Regular full washing removes these deposits and limits their long-term effect on the paintwork and metal components.
